Surprisingly good for a game based off of a movie
I got this game because of previous thrills playing other Spider Man games, and this one is no disappointment.

Controls:
The controls are confusing and occasionally not responsive, but they're some of the most creative I've seen for the DS. Very few games make good use of the touch screen, but this one was a success on this factor. Overall Rating- *****

Gameplay:
The gameplay is simply beat up bad guys and bosses. It takes a lot of beating up baddies to get sick of it, but they could have done a better job on the boss fights. Rather than having the bosses perform different attacks, forcing you to counter and retaliate, figuring out the boss's weakness, like in Spider Man Friend or Foe, you simply find some kind of thing, like smoke, and force the villain to come in contact with it. I haven't done very many of the boss fights, though, so don't blame me if they suddenly get better in the middle of the game. The only other complaint is that the factor of which enemies appear seems random. This way not sound like much, but it's actually a big deal since some enemies are a LOT stronger than others. However, the black suit's rage meter is a nice addition. Overall Rating- ***

Storyline:
The story of the movie is always too small to cram into a video game, so extensions always have to be added, but they actually make it pretty neat. In between boss fights, you aid DeWolfe by stopping gangs from doing stuff like taking over chemical factories. Also, when an important part of the story arises, it is sometimes told in newspaper form, where it shows pictures from the newspaper as the characters talk. Overall Rating- ****

Graphics and Sound:
The graphics are pretty good for a DS game, although the small size of characters makes it somewhat hard to tell who or what they are. The music is average, nothing you want to hea over and over again, but also nothing that forces you to turn it off. It seems like most think that Tobey (the guy who plays Spider Man in the movies) voicing as his same role in the game is a huge deal, but for the most part, it sounds like he is really, really, bored. Plus, I usually can't hear what he is even saying, mumbling some lame joke, apparently. Overall Rating- ***

In conclusion, this game is a great buy for enjoyment in between releases of the real wonders, but don't expect anything legendary. Final Overall Rating- ****

SpiderMan 3-finally got it right!
This game is awesome! I actually can't wait to load the game and just swing around the city. Oh, yeah, I play the game some too. I've just gotten it so I haven't gotten to any of the hard levels yet so I'm listening to everyone on msg boards and seeing whats coming up next. I got bored with Spiderman 2 right during the training session for the psp but this one seems to start out right away as it should and Bruce Campbell's satiric wit are back and I for one am glad. The game is a different experience (and NOT for the better) w/o him narrating. The Spiderman 2 narration for the psp just lacked that comic timing...and the controls weren't as easy to get used to either. I don't get games that often..I am so Glad! that I got this one.

A good game.
I find this game a little to fast for me, I was used to Spiderman 2 and Spidy 3 is a good push to add more content and make more plot points, as well as explore New York, which I have always loved freeroam enviroments. Still a little to fast, the character is harder to control and get him to do what you want when you want him too, it takes a bit of luck off the start but overall a good game. Personally, you might as well (unless you're a collector like myself) go ahead and skip this one and get Web of Shadows, just as much fun and overall a better story in my book. Still the game is better than the movie (I'm sorry to say).
Thanks for reading.

Awesome game...
It was exactly what I wanted. It took me awhile to get used to but after all I got pretty good.

Spiderman 3
It was a great gift for a teen. He really seemed to enjoy playing it.

VERY disapointed!
I am not happy overall with the game at all. I bought it in 2008 even before I had a PS3 and today I finally was able to play it (2 yrs later) and don't know if it was worth the wait. The only good sport I enjoy playing is Gymnastics. The events are great and realistic in form. The falls and wobbles really are realistic and being a huge gymnastics fan myself I give it 5 stars BUT that is the only good thing.

The track and field is a HUGE disappointment! I loved the 100m in 2004 and 2000 games for playstation but surprisingly the track for this game is HORRIBLE. In the beginning you have to hold on the L2 or L1 button but it cant hit the red or you'll false start but its hard so you always end up either false staring or starting much later than the other competitors, on top of that usually like in the 2004 video game even if you start late you can still catch up well not in this game. I literally can not do better than last place because it is virtually impossible to stay with the group no matter how hard I mash the buttons, its ridiculous and very frustrating!

Other games like table tennis, judo and kayak are also frustrating, way too complicated to understand what buttons to press and when, same for the diving, it just fails completely. Such a shame!

it could be nicer than this !!
frankly its a nice game, mostly, except some games inside which is really silly, i mean the way u have to play it to get the score, like Hammer..
generally . .i had fun with this game

Fun Button Masher
Having grown up in the Atari age with stuff like 'Decathlon' and then later with 'Track and Field' on the NES, I think I can appreciate a button mashing sports game like this game more than alot of people can. It's not rocket science gameplay here...it all comes down to how fast you can tap the buttons, twirl the control sticks, aim, or press the right button combinations. So for today's sports game fan...it may be too 'simple.'

Quite honestly, I think sports games have gotten too complex anyways. Theres too much focus on strategy and pressing 6 button combos to perform one particular move. A game like this is actually a refreshing step into retro-style gaming. For the bargain price it is now, it's a cool collection of about 50 Olympic mini-games that you can mess around with for an hour and then leave it. If you're looking for something with more depth, you're better off looking elsewhere. But if you want simple, NES-era button mashing fun (that will make your arm sore), give this one a look. It's not nearly as bad as its made out to be. It's just a matter of preference.

Altho I WILL admit that the kayak controls stink...

Same old same old
I believe this game is well designed and the graphics are amazing but the game play is not very entertaining. I played this for a couple of weeks and their is a reson the price is so low on the used market. Save your money for another game unless you are a huge fan of olympic sports. I think it would be more entertaining to incorporate some sort of career mode or training mode for athelets. They might even try "create an athlete." Sega should take a lesson from the EA sports franchise and let users become part of the action.

Be prepared to ruin your controllers
Since the Olympics are over, I got a great deal on this game and decided to give it a try. I was hoping the gameplay would be more modern than the button mashing games but it actually is worse.

There are 38 games total, most are either fusturating, tiring or both.

All games that involve running such as all track events and many field events require you to either button mash the X and Circle buttons or move the right and left analog sticks back an forth. Cycling requires you to rotate either the left or analog stick for around 4 minutes. After 2 days and maybe 90 minutes total of playing this game, I noticed the analog sticks on my controller were a lot more loose compared the way they were before I opened the game. I am sure if I keep playing these events, the controller will be worn down very quickly.

All events that require a starting timer like running and swimming have a meter. This meter either almost always gives you a false start or you end up starting the race too late and can't catch up.

Other events such as Floor Exercises use the timing of the buttons but don't give you enough notice of what button needs to be pressed.

Some events like Archery are fun except that you need an almost perfect score just to advance past the first round.

Overall, the game can be fun at times but most of the time you are going to be fusturated and in the process ruining your controller or controllers if you play multiplayer mode.

A Wide-open LA Like You've Never Imagined
Midnight Club Los Angeles drops players into a painstakingly recreated version of world-famous Tinseltown. Broken down into five distinct open-world gameplay areas, linked on the game map, cumulatively these areas comprise a massive area, much larger than anything ever seen in previous Midnight Club releases and possibly larger than any existing racer to date. Within these areas, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Mulholland Drive and Downtown LA, players are free to engage in mission play driving them to attain and customize a wide range of authentic world-class street racing vehicles, or to simply explore the city, taking on all comers in a variety of race types as they wish. Regardless, along the way they will experience not only the visual realism of the iconic boulevards, freeways, and landmarks made famous in TV and movies, but also the realism of the living breathing LA urban experience. Here traffic backs up then clears as people go to and leave work for the day, weather systems come and go and day turns to night, then back again. All the while the race goes on. It's all part of the living, breathing LA. It's all part of the Midnight Club.

The Cars
Midnight Club: Los Angeles will feature an astounding selection of vehicles in the Muscle Car, Exotics, Tuners, Motorcycle and Luxury car categories. At the time of publishing only a fraction of the total list has been announced, but a good sampling of what players can expect at launch can be seen below. Click the links in each category to see screen shots of the cars:

Muscle Cars
   Saleen S302 Extreme
   Chevrolet Corvette Z06
   Dodge Challenger Concept Car
Bikes
   Kawasaki Ninja ZX14
Exotics
   Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster
   Ford GT
   Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder
Tuners
   Volkswagen R32
   Pontiac Solstice
   1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX

Extreme Customization
Midnight Club Los Angeles continues the tradition of offering some of the deepest vehicle customization you will find in any video game. The hottest licensed cars and bikes in the world are at your disposal - kit them out, supe them up, and personalize them down to the last detail to make them all your own. Visit the Club's in-game garages located in Hollywood and Santa Monica and let your imagination run wild - tweaking and fine tuning through the following three different types of vehicle modifications:

Performance & Handling - To become a street legend, you're going to have to tune your vehicle for maximum performance. The garage offers three levels of upgrades for virtually every component on your vehicle, but it's up to you to craft the winning combination that will give you the edge on the competition.

Exterior - For the Midnight Club, stunting is a habit and its clandestine Los Angeles garages have all the toys needed to ensure heads turn in this jaded town. From making sure your car is dripping in candy paint, to adding unique body kits and jaw dropping extras, the garage offers practically limitless possibilities to personalize your vehicle with aftermarket accessories and customizable options.

Interior - Don't embarrass yourself by pulling up with an outrageously kitted-up car that has a 'me-too' factory interior. Not a good look! You're going to be spending a lot of time behind the wheel, so renovate and make yourself feel comfortable.

Beware or Befriend the Local Competition
The street racing scene of Midnight Club is tough, but tight, meaning that everyone that you meet in expansive Los Angeles could just as easily be an ally as an enemy. One thing is for certain though, they are all willing to throw down at the drop of a hat. Just a few of the faces you'll encounter out on the streets are:

NPC Karol from 'Midnight Club: Los Angeles' Karol, Age 45 - A veteran of Moscow's underground street racing circuit, Karol moved to LA in the 1990's after the collapse of the Soviet Union. If you're looking for cars, he's your man. He owns two successful garages and claims to be able to get hold of any vehicle, no questions asked. He also sees himself as a philosopher and will bend your ear if you left him. He mostly races around Hollywood and the Beaches and his rides include a 1975 Datsun 280Z, 1969 Boss Mustang 302, 2006 Dodge Challenger and a 1971 Lamborghini Miura SV.
NPC Annie from 'Midnight Club: Los Angeles' Annie, Age 31 - Annie has a rep as one of the fiercest drivers in the city. She detests posers and wannabes, is intelligent and sharp-tongued and pulls no punches when it comes to cutting the competition down to size. She has been spotted in everything from a 1983 VW Golf GTI, 2006 Pontiac Solstice, 2008 Chrysler 300C SRT-8, 2008 Audi RS4 and a 2004 Ford Shelby Cobra Concept and can usually be found hanging out near Pink's Hotdog Stand in Hollywood along with her crew.
Rockstar Games Social Club: Join the Community
Being a Rockstar game Midnight Club: Los Angeles comes with a huge commitment to the gaming community. To take advantage of all the benefits that come with this players should ensure that they join the 'Rockstar Games Social Club' to extend their Midnight Club experience. Terrible
First off the directional system for racing was terrible. Second There is wayyy to much traffic and once you hit a car you have pretty much lost. The customization is okay. Using the motorcycles is terrible though. If the racing directional thing was better it might be a good game. By directional system I mean instead of need for speed like arrows it has smoke bomb things that you have to through and if you dont you have to turn around which suck. Get need for speed most wanted first.

Awesome Game
Best racing game out. They also have a free addition to the game on Xbox live called South Central. The streets are so real as you play the game.

Real life graphics and cool driving
This game is very solid with beatiful graphics and awesome dynamic weather system. The game arrived in very good condition. The only downside is that the game is a little tough, and oponet racers seem always way faster than you. This does not bring down game experience thoug. I ll be hooked up with this video game for big while.

amazing
ok, the first midnight clubs were cool, but this one brings it to a whole new level. the graphics first off are the best, maybe a little better than gta iv, and i am ashamed of saying that. around the city of L.A. you will see real stores and logos, such as best buy, game stop, pizza hut etc. the cars are awesome, if you just start out playing it will take a little getting used to, because you dont know the controls. this is the best midnight club game

Great game
My husband plays this game a lot and now all his friends want to borrow it,

Shoot 'em up and wreck 'em.
I bought this game for my kids. I remembered Starsky and Hutch from television when I was a kid. This follows them in their Ford Gran Torino through 3 seasons. (Other cars become available.) Each mission is basically about destroying the bad guys car, not shooting or smashing the good guys car, and collecting badges and tokens to move to the next season.

Game play is smooth, graphics are cartoon-like. My kids enjoy the challenge of beating the game, but they tire of collecting badges and tokens although with a few runs they can figure out where they are and compete.

Once they beat the game I am not sure they will want to keep playing, but it has held its value for a month now. When they have friends over that is one of the first discs they pull out just for the sheer fun of driving and shooting. It can be a challenge to win.

For old kids too!
This is a cute fun game for young kids to us very old kids! My wife and I love this game, it is good clean family fun. Great game for two people, we take turns, one driving with the controler and one useing the light gun and shooting at the bad guys. It is different in that both of you are working together doing different things and on the same screen (not a split screen). It is a simple easy game to play (you don't have to remember what every button on the controler is for). If you like light gun shooter games, you will like this one.

Pros & Cons
What the heck?! This game was really good at first. Then it got boring. What's with those ratings?! Come on! At least let me get of the car. This game is good but frustating. It was Okay. At least Hutch has great 357. Magnum. Starsky also has the car we know and love. The Ford Grand Torino. I recommend this game to people who love fast cars and love nice guns.

THE GAME SUCKZZZZZZZZZZZZ
I GOT THE GAME FROM (kohls)!!!! I should have known a CLOTHING STORE only has crap video games. It is soooooooooooooooooo boring and lame. do NOT get this game.i repeat DOOOOOOO NOTTTTTTTTT GETTTTTTTTT THIISSSSSS GAMEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

idon't really have it
i don't really have this game and i just want to ask any one thats reading this that has this game and are going to review it. um can you get out of the car? or do you just ride around in the car the whole game? cause im a hard core gamer but i have read the reviews and every one says it is fairly easy.this game would be perfect for me if you could get out of the car.

Deluxe is quieter & front fan cooling rulzs ~
I've tried pretty all the fans offered here at amazon.com
from every angle ~ the other have a tendency to
produce more noise & harbor more heat ~

This version is quieter than the non-deluxe ~
For Me ~ it was worth the extra ~
The cheaper version had a tendency 2 buzz ~ which failed it's prime purpose ~
A cooler system that produces less fan exhaust noise ~

If U have a fat unit (60gb in my case) & an issue w/ exhaust noise
~ This device seems to reduce exhaust temperature & most likely, ultra high,
fan modes ~

Fits nicely to the front & features an easy 2 use power
switch ~ which is a + in "my books"

Piece of junk!
This item is a piece of junk. Please do not waste your money on this! I got this a few weeks ago and it hardly cooled my system down any. It was hard to get it to snap onto the front of my ps3 which I had to use tape to hold it in place. After a week of looking at it just hanging off my ps3 I just decided to throw it back into box it came in and throw it into my closet.

piece of junk
When you make a product for any gaming system i ought not mtter what gigabyte you have just so the item can fit. This thing does not fit my 60 gig first gen ps 3. IT HANGS OFF TO THE SIDE AND LOOKS SLOPPY. IT IS ALSO VERY CHEAPY AND LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING HOME MADE COMPARED TO THE PIC. GO WITH THE INTERCOOLER NOT THIS...........

not great, not terrible
Fits onto the PS3 ok, and the fans did work, but I do not know how much of a difference this will make. For the money, it's not bad

FAN
DONT TRY TO REMOVE IT ONCE ITS ON THERE
I HAD TO SWITCH PS3 MACHINES TRYIED TO TAKE IT OF THE TABS BROKE
IS NO GOOD NOW

the best game ever
this game is the best i had it before and now im gona get it again this game is a must have for people who want passion in a mild violent way pacman is the best i just have to say he is plain perfect!!!!!!!!!!

Pac Man World 2 Playstation 2
This game is a lot of fun. It's a challenge so don't give up. For some reason the playstion 2 game is easier to play then the PC game.

My son can play for hours
There was a time where I would play Pac-Man for days! So, of course, when I saw this game, I bought it! It took us a while to actually beat the game, though we do not play that often. My five-year-old son LOVES it! There are some places which are too hard for him, but he is getting better. Plus, once you beat it, he can go to any world he wants and play. There is no real graphic violence. We have also found it to be much more enjoyable for a younger child than Pac-Man 3.

The other reveiws were correct when they stated that the camera angles were poor. However, if you start a rev roll and move around, you can see stuff that you could not when you tried to just rotate the camera.

Overall, I would buy it again. The replay value is very high and let's face it, it is PAC-MAN!

Amazingly Addictive...
When buying it, I wasn't expecting much. Other Pac Man games are fun, but tend to get boring after a while. This one is SO not boring! There are many levels that you go through, and there's cool things to do even after you finish the game. The controls are fairly simple once you get used to them. The creativity envolved in the levels are clearly shown. Each level is very deifferent from the last and adds a lot of variety. This is a great game for everyone! I recommend it for all ages.

Ice Skating!
Okay, this is not the Pac-Man you know. He's a platformer now! The highlight for me was the ice skating; i wish you could get him to do tricks or something! I spent a lot of time hopping, gliding, and trying to force him to do an axel. Kind of disturbing of me...
Anyways, I probablt don't need to say that I liked this because it reminded me of Spyro, Ty, and a little of Klonoa. I didn't buy it because I got stuck and couldn't get past a part; this was a few years ago. :)

    doesn't fit
I ordered this for my 160 GB PS3 but no where in the description does it say it won't fit a 160GB. The access port is on the wrong side. Just some advice!!!

PlayStation 3 Intercooler by NYKO is not compatible with my PS3
PlayStation 3 Intercooler by NYKO is not compatible with my PS3. I'm not sure is it compatible only for the old model of PS3.
I already bought it. Now it become useless for me

Dont listen to negative reviews...product is great
when reading the reviews for this product there was 3 main complaints i noticed....1. the system is VERY LOUD. yes you are adding extra fans to your system so it will be a LITTLE louder....but its not much louder than when your stock ps3 fans kick into its high setting. I laughed about how much people complained about it once i heard the fans myself...not that loud honestly. 2. the system "steals" power from your ps3 making it burn out faster or perform less effectively....not true. the power core of the ps3 requires 300 watts...the power cord the ps3 uses is more than capable of powering both the extra cooling unit and the ps3 at the same time. 3. People complained about not being able to turn the system off from their controller. NOT TRUE. you can turn off your system from your controller still...the system powers down but does not turn off the cooling system..which is a GOOD thing. Your system becomes hot after only a few minutes of game play. turning off this system also turns off your stock ps3 cooling fans allowing the residual heat that the cpu and gpu put off to stay in the system...this is when your components degrade the most..the fact i can leave the fans ON and blow this heat out while the system is off is GREAT. then simply hit a switch and the extra cooling unit powers down. Bottom line the extra cooling unit works...and it works GREAT. i keep the fan on its lowest setting for about an hour or two....if i play longer i switch it all the way up to keep my system at the perfect temperature during gameplay. I hope this review is helpful as all the negative reviews ALMOST made me not buy this great product. It does it job and it does its job well...my system is happy its cooler and im happy i dont have to worry about my system EVER overheating due to very long gaming sessions.

    A nice unit
As others have noted it is a little noisy but just above my room noise. And not as noisy as some of my computer coolers in the past.
I think the features far outweigh the negatives.
1: Not taking up a USB port to power the fans is great I don't know why other coolers don't use a pass through power feature.
2: The variable speed fan is a good touch.
3: Having the power switch on the front now is a bonus.
If you can hear the fans over NFS or MW 2 you have better hearing than I.
For the most part I should have gotten one a long time ago.

    JUNK
I had high hopes for this device. It worked well for 2 weeks. Now, when I turn it on, it whines VERY loudly (a little less than a blender) and I have to bang it to get the noise to settle down. It's not a lot of money but it sure is a waste of it.
It would NOT recommend this AT ALL.

    More like lizzard skin
These skinz are really cool looking, but lasted only about 90 days and they cracked and pealed and I took them off and threw them away. I guess if you remove them everytime you play they make cool storage covers!!

You get what you pay for.
Sony memory cards may be on the expensive side, but they do indeed give you what you pay for. When saving 1,000's of hours of gameplay to memory, I feel safe with original equipment. I know my existance will be there when I get back.

    work good in the PS2
These are a perfect fit for the PS2, and since they are only 8MB, it is a good idea to have 2 memory cards if you have a lot of games, such as I do. Since most games use memory card slot #1, all you have to do is just swap card slots.

Necessary for the PS2, and becoming harder to find.
I bought another brand memory card first, with the same specs, but in use it would not "save" the kids game levels and progress. Once we got this one (mfr. brand) everyone is happy not to lose all their game points and levels. I have found these not to be available in stores lately. So, if you still plan to use your PS2, and need a memory card to "save" games in progress, get 'em while you still can. Maybe get a spare for when one fails.

    Good Solid Memory Card
I could state the obvious, that these are so wildly expensive by today's memory standards that it borders on the obscene. I could also state my suspicions that the prices suddenly jumped quite a bit after the PS2 price dropped to 0, but I'm sure somebody else has covered both those already in depth.

I'll say that they seem to be solid and well constructed. They fit just fine into my PlayStation 2 Console, with my Logitech PlayStation 2 Cordless Action Controller. I like the black plastic memory cards better, but I can see how the color helps differentiate without putting a label on them. I've been using one of them now for a few months with no issues. I'm not expecting any problems, they're Sony made afterall.

As your main card or as a backup for important saves, you really should get a branded memory card. I've not had any card ever fail on me, but then again I've never had a memory card until about a year ago. The general concensus seems to be, branded is better than 3rd party.

    Small, but reliable
On the one hand, 8MB memory cards seem small and over-priced when compared to after-market 32MB and 64MB cards. With how cheap memory is, I don't know why Sony doesn't make large cards themselves, even at a price premium.

On the other hand, my friends have had after-market memory cards die on them. I've never had a problem with these Sony cards.

Personally, I'd rather spend the extra money to make sure that my saved games are secure.
