Great S-video Cable for Cheap Price!
Though this isn't component cable that gives the best picture (and display in progressive scan mode), this s-video cable provide better picture than using the default composite cable that Nintendo provided if your TV or other input device supports it. I bought this cable because it's cheap (not to mention it's "Fulfillment by Amazon") and to use in a capture device on my computer to record some gameplay. So far I'm happy with the quality of this s-video cable. Buy it if you're still using a tube/SDTV.

Not really needed
The construction of the wheel is fine, and it's comfortable to use, but in my opinion it's not really needed for the Wii. I am playing a Need For Speed game with it and most of the time I just prefer to use the Wii controller without the wheel.

Perhaps it works different or better with other Wii driving games, but I only have Need for Speed Pro Street at this time.

Wii Nerf racing wheels
I love these. We have them in blue, green and black so far. My 2 year old can pretend play while the big kids are doing their thing and I don't have to worry about him breaking something with it. It is very comfortable in your hands and the texture makes it easier to hold on to than the smooth plastic wheels.

no problems
Neither I nor my husband have any issues using this wheel vs using the standard wheel that came with Mario Cart.
The only thing is that the remote fits very snuggly into this wheel and takes extra pressure to snap in and out.

Good, Worth The Money
Family and friends who have used it either have no preference between this one and the original wii one or they prefer this one. I like this one better, feels more comfortable. No reported problems with it at all, works great.

Nerf Wii Wheel
No problems thus far with the Nerf Wii Driving Wheel. The remote stays in place and the kids love it because the wheel is soft. I'm glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews.

Fun game for pre-school age children
I purchased this game for my four year old and it was perfect for her. I wanted a game she could play on her own that didn't require the player to be able to read. This game was just right. My daughter liked it but did not love it. It is probably a game you would be better off renting rather than buying. My daughter has several of the other games designed for pre-schoolers that she likes better but this one is okay, there just isn't alot of action and is very slow paced, even for a pre-schooler game.

Good for little kids
This is a great game for younger girls. My 7 year old and 4 year old love to play it. I have a hard time finding wii games that my girls can play on their own without needing my help every 2 minutes. This is a great one. Got on sale at Target.

Good Wii game for less-cooridinated kids.
My 6 1/2 year old daughter has my deficit when it comes to eye-hand-coordination. She really wants to play, but things like Wii games don't come easy. This game was perfect for her. It kept her attention, the goals were achievable, and what little girl passes up the chance to dress/design/accessorize and SHOP?! It would probably be boring and/or too easy for those kids more advanced on the Wii games, but for my daughter, it was perfect. She typically doesn't play for more than 20 minutes at a time, so the simplicity and "girly-ness" of it was perfect.

Good for the children,
The game is adapted for children, but when completing the game, you can no longer make anything but new with the, the history is very to line, for what is not interesting to play it many times

Good game for preschoolers
This game is very short like all the reviews have already said, but the great part about this game is the mini games that your child can play. The mini games are so short like 3 minutes long but entertaining for a little kid. This game nor any of the other Build-A-Bear games are meant for older children. Some of the minigames are a pogostick race, tetherball, horse riding, etc. There is more than 10 mini games. To unlock all of the minigames you must complete the adventure game which really is just the character completing the mini games and finding puzzle pieces. During adventure mode the character finds/recieves medals which then can be used to bought accessories/clothes at the store.

Oh yeah! All of the directions are said aloud and written on the screen. They even show the kids how to do the moves for each of the games.

This game is best for kids age 3-5. Any older kids will probably be bored after the first hour.

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa for the Wii: Jolly good fun!
This is one of the best video games for the entire family that I've ever seen for the Wii platform. It's a true delight.

Unlike some of the Wii games ties to movies, Escape 2 Africa does not take you though the movie, recreating the adventure from the point of view of various characters. This game has you manipulating the main characters in different challenges ranging from taking photographs to recovering various things the penguins need to fix up the airplane from the humans, to attempting to cure various animal ailments with carefully applied potions, to playing a game of soccer; and many, many more.

There are about 12 different levels in the game, with miniature games and levels in each one. They range from simple enough for a six year old to work, to games that will try the patience of adults. Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa packs more games onto one disk than any movie-related video game we've ever purchased. This one was the winner of the video game Christmas sweepstakes going away.

If you have small children and they have seen the movie, by all means buy this game for them. You will be guaranteeing them days of video game enjoyment. I don't see this one getting old for my son any time soon. Neither will you.

Not too impressed
Got this game 1 year ago and the kids have played it like 3 times - they don't really like it. They play the Wii lots but this game is not impressive enough for them to be interested!

Madascar 2 Escape Africa Wii game
This is a great game. I enjoy playing just as much as the kids. Very addictive, fun mini games, excellent graphics. The accessories you can purchase for the characters are very cute.

Funny and mildly challenging
This is another decent movie-based video games aimed at the younger generation. Your objectives are multifold but aimed at saving animals in the African Savannah from 'human predators'. You play one of the animals in the Madagaskar crew, Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo and others such as the penquins through multiple levels.

The animation and dialogues are humorous. The game play is mildly challenging (kids under 5 might need some occasional help) and has a number of very different objectives. Due to variety in action and gameplay, it is not boring at all. There are mild onjectives like taking pictures of animals/finding stuff around or a path to go to the next objective. There are also some challenging ones such as navigating through a path of scorpions, eagles and deep valleys or chasing human guards away by throwing soda cans at them etc.

There is also multi-player mode (upto 4 players) for some of the minigames most of which are quite a bit of fun. Do keep in mind that these games are aimed at kids under 10.

One bad aspect about the game is the camera angle. It does not change intuitively - sometimes it does, but is very slow. So you end up falling off cliffs or boxes when you try to turn around or go back. could be frustrating for kids. You can change the camera angle with the keypad though.

it's a good one
Good game. Fun, easy, but still challenging. It's not life changing but it also doesn't have any major flaws, it's rated E for everyone and it has the cast of madagascar in it. The one thing already noted I'll say again, the game saves all over the place so don't worry about all the "progress will be lost" notices. Also don't worry about finding every monkey, not necessary, we won the game with only 60 monkeys. So, I say it's a buy.

    NEVER RECEIVED MINE
i ordered this game, but never received it...that is why i have a 1 star review..im sure it would have been a cute game if we had ever gotten it.

they only played it one time
i brought this game for a good price but my kids only played it a couple time

Disappointed for Shrek 2 Xbox player
Our family really enjoyed the original Xbox version of Shrek 2. It had an appropriate amount of puzzles and actions, its multi-player functionality, and graphics was rather rich (stages, items, interactivity, etc). So naturally we thought Shrek 3 would have been an upgrade. However, Shreak 3 for Wii was really a disappointment.

First, the multi-player function is gone. When you're playing through the storyline, you can only be 1 person. Collaborate playing in Shrek 2 is gone except for maybe in minigames, and we loved that! Also, there is entirly too much fighting and *very* little puzzles. From level to level, scene to scent, we find ourselfs fighting endless people by eldlessly shaking the controller. The background and scenes are far less interesting than 2. Overall, it was a step back from 2. Good thing we only paid including shipping from an Amazon supplier for the game.

    DON'T GET THIS GAME!!!!!!!!
This game is way too easy. I beat it in about 2 hours. The graphics stink, and the plot line isn't that well done. Don't waste your time and your money.

Poor use of Wii controllers, weak story
My daughter got this one for Christmas. She thinks it's boring. I'm not crazy about it, either. For starters, it makes poor use of the Wii's unique controllers. You simply wiggle your Wiimote to fight. That brings up the other big problem I have with this game. There's a LOT of fighting, which really isn't keeping in the spirit of the franchise. The graphics are pretty weak, too. I know, it's a Wii game, and Wii isn't as slick as Xbox or PS3, but these graphics are still pretty weak. Generally, I'm wary of one-star reviews, because I assume the reviewer is just a crank, but please believe when I say this is a boring and surprisingly violent game.

    Fun for Kids
I bought the game for my 8 yr old niece who really likes it. She also has the Sing It game which uses the same songs. Its not as much dancing as I expected, more hand motions. I think the game with the dancepad would be a little more fun to do.

    Too frustrating
Gosh, I was super excited for my daughter to play this game which she just got for Christmas. O-boy what a disappointment!
You are supposed to move your arms with the remote and the other game controller up, down and to the side ... but while doing so you are supposed to hit the bars that are on the screen when the balls appear and hit it right at the same time they hit the bars, but the bars are too hard to match up with for some reason. I tried moving my arms any possible way and I moved closer and farther from the screen, and only 1 out 8 tries I'm able to hit the bars. That's too frustrating and my 6 year old gave up after trying it for 30 minutes of no luck. It really isn't so much dancing that you are doing. Just moving your arms around.

I'm hugely disappointed! I will try it again before I completely shelve this game, but it shouldn't be this hard to play a game - right?

    Fun for All Ages!
We have 3,6 & 7 year old girls. They LOVE this game. Even the little one (who usually gets a failing grade) loves the music! Creating their own characters is an added bonus and being able to get new clothing, change their clothes and their appearance is icing on the cake! The sophomore level songs are plenty easy for elementary school kids while the senior level keeps us adults on our dancing toes! Fun for the whole family and so many different songs & levels to move through that it takes a fair amount of time to "graduate".

    Tons of fun!
Great fun for the whole family, especially if people really get into it and do the moves. There are some serious HSM fanatics in my family, and they LOVE playing this game!

    Rent It Before Buying
You "dance" with only your arms, moving the wiimote and nunchuck up, down, and to the side following the onscreen prompt. Really, who dances like that? I don't know why all the dancing titles don't use mats! Anyway, unlike this game in other platforms, it is arm swinging only, no mat or feet use. Other negatives- your on screen charector doesn't dance with you, or even perform the same moves as you. Your movements don't follow the beat. So you are literally standing there waving your arms around (with the wii cord smacking your face every third wave), trying to match the prompt while all the cast is having a great time singing and dancing around looking nothing like you. The prompt is a large circle of lines around your charactor, and a bubble moves from inside the circle out you are to wave your arm thru the circle at the same time. kinda distracting. Also, almost everything is locked in the beginning except about 8 songs. Positives are great graphics, and we recognized all the songs. So for me it was weird and boring, but I must admit my 8 yr old daughter really likes the game and has been playing it nonstop. The price listed here is incredibly high for what you get. Maybe the unlocked portions will reveal some new fabulous feature but otherwise I recommend checking it out first before you buy it and a wireless remote is a must.

    Memory Card
Great product. Works just fine and is at a great price. Got here in time too.

    very reliable sandisk
memory stick is very reliable i use it for my nintendo wii and my video camera works like a charm

    sandisk for wii
My 12 year old bought this to help with his games. Neither of us could get it to work even after going through several sets of instructions. Don't feel I can rate the product fairly, though the instructions are quite poorly written

    Other SD Cards are cheaper
Hey everyone. I just bought the Wii and read somewhere that you HAVE to use a Wii SD Card. So I was kinda ticked off about it consider how much they are.

I recently bought a 2gig SD Kingston memory card for online and I tried it out in the Wii.

It works fine. You do not need to buy the Wii SD Card. Your just paying for the name. Any SD Card is fine.

You can pick them up pretty much anywhere for really cheap. Especially right now due to the Holiday sales.

I just wanted to share my results.

    Good luck gaming!

A Nice Memory Card For Back-Up But No True Use For Anything Else
I got this because like so many other people I thought this would help a lot with my virtual games and save games as well. It does clean up a lot of the clutter on the Wii if you're not playing a certain game and want to remove the data from your Wii's memory but don't want to take a a chance and lose any data when you do erase it from the Wii's memory. Also like a few reviewers have said you cant move saved game data from the gamecube memory cards to the Wii's SD card nor can you load saved game data directly from it if your playing a game which is a little inconvenient. But the one good thing is the space on the memory card means you'll probably only have to buy one for a pretty long time before having to get another one and yes even though price is pretty step for this card. One other thing though if you go for the regular Sandisk memory card you cannot get the Sandisk HC card one these cards will not work on the Wii console I had a friend who bought one to try it out and found out this way. So all I can say for this item is if you're looking to make more room on your Wii console memory this card is a good backup to use...

MUST HAVE if your TV supports it.
This is the difference between a hard-to-see picture and one that's extremely high quality. I suggest buying from eForcity because they have by far the best price. It works perfectly, just as good as the official cable, and it's a hell of a lot cheaper. Really, if your TV supports it, you NEED this. You'll be amazed at the difference, even before you switch to progressive scan mode.

Please note some older CRT displays with component input don't support progressive scan, so they'll get a black picture if you use them with it, but you'll still get an excellent picture WITHOUT progressive scan. It's just not as good.

Seller does not send product advertised or respond to email!!
Do not buy anything from this seller (Mycarryingcase). The product listed is composite and s-video cable for Nintento Wii. Seller will send you a component cable and never respond to your attempts to fix the error. The only good thing about this transaction is that it was a cheap error on my part to ever buy anything from this seller and as such it is hardly worth my time to even write this review. At least this may serve as a warning to others thinking about buying more expensive items from this seller. BE CAREFUL - YOU MAY NOT GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!!!!!!!!

    Must have for HD Televisions!
I bought this thinking it really wouldn't make much of a difference, boy was I wrong! I have a 32" flat screen Phillips HDTV, with the standard cables I couldn't read the text on the screen, after it was clear as day. For the people saying it doesn't make a difference, you have to go into the Wii Settings screen and choose the EDTV option.

    Great product, great price!
Great product for instead of from Nintendo. Works perfectly. Just remember to change your video setting on the Wii to take advantage of the composite connection. Fast shipment and terrific price!

    Got what I paid for
Did everything I had to do to set this cable up with the wii system and TV. To be honest, it didn't make that much of an improvment. I have a top of the line plasma tv, should have gotten top of the line cables, I guess. Really don't think that would have made it any bettr either, though. That's just the way it is, unfortunatly.
