Lava Glow Controller is awesome
I purchased this Playstation 2 Lava Glow Wired Controller for my nephew and he absolutely loves it. His word was "Awesome." It does not have the vibration function of some other controllers but he says he does not miss it. He says the lava blue liquid in the handles of the controller is really cool. He likes the blue light that it emits when in use. (Blue is his favorite color.)

This contoller was less expensive than the regular black controller that is standard for Playstation 2. It seems to be just as sturdy as the other contollers. He is very rough with his game equipment and still no funtional or hardware problems.

I am glad I chose this controller for my nephew. He really enjoys it.

awesome controller
The controller is amazing! love the size of it. The lights make everything look so much cooler, but it kinda bothers my eyes. the L1 doesn't really work. it "flickers"

Not Thrilled
Well I bought this controller for my husband for Christmas. When I bought it, I didn't think that it would be a bright as is actually is. He primarily plays sports games, and he said that the buttons stick. Also he has only used it a few times and the cord is actually coming apart. So I spent money on this controller that he doesn't use, and is falling apart. So overall I am not impressed with this product. I really wish I would have just went to the local GameStop an bought one there.

Almost impressed
I am not one for the "snazzy" looking controllers usually, but I decided to get this one. I expected the light to be dim barely noticeable unless in a dark room, but even in light the glow is very bright. It's beautiful and it works great. Even I am a little impressed by the quality of this item, which is saying a lot

EDIT: Well after further use of this controller my opinion dropped a bit.. It is still a beautiful controller, and works well. Until it hits something. Unlike my old controllers that could be dropped time and time again, this ones casing is a bit delicate. On the first 1 foot, bits of the casing broke away. As well as a button. So be careful if you have clumsy people around

This game has been fun to play. My 6yr old son and I have been taking turns playing the game as a team. Challanging enough and yet playable to the point that he hasn't given up for being too hard to play.

please, don't rescue failed development....
...obviously this game nearly never was.

brilliant graphics, cool story, humorous dialog (especially if your a fan of this kind a thing e.g jak...) its just a pity its so rubbish:
you've defeated loads of woodies and now face their boss. a hint tells you to wait until his weapon is stuck in the ground and attack him from behind. this you do, and in defeating him you succeed. but wait, nothing else happens, no new enemies, no cut scene. have you missed something? no. the game has failed to realise your success and continues to inform you of a hint about how to succeed in what you've already accomplished. the only way forward is to jump of a ledge at start the scene again, win and hope this hack of a title lets you continue. that's how this game runs. obviously the original developers had hoped for more, but who ever took over obviously couldn't give a ?#*!.

whats more i don't think its age rating gives much indication. this is scary for a 3++++ child: scary dream monsters and a battle against them (that cant be won - even by the accompanying adult helping them)
one to be missed!!!

Best game ever created!!!!!!!!!
This game is great. It can get a little frustrating but over all it is a lot of fun. I really like how you can change in to a squirrel, a bore, and a frog. I really recommend it.

Misrepresentation!
This is being listed or advertised as a Playstation 2 Guncon Foot Pedal and that is why I purchased it! But it is not for a PS2,it is ONLY for Playstation 1!!!!! I'm not gonna return it because its a waste of time and money! But I'm never gonna buy from this seller again!!!

Playstation 2 Guncon Foot Pedal
Be warned. This only works on the original Guncon (not the Guncon 2), which seems odd since it also only works on the Playstation 2. That means it does NOT work on Time Crisis 3. The housing and hinge are made of light duty plastic and started to mis-shape along the hinge after a few hours of game play. The swith activates about 80% of the time, even when carefully trying to apply pressure in the limited sweet spot. The frustration from missing reload/duck actions were too much to enjoy the game.

Great fun after its anchored!!
Playstation 2 Cobra TT Wheel
This is a great accessory for the new player or a more advanced player! Scary to think your kids may be picking up some bad driving habits very early on! As far as durability of the Cobra wheel it WOULD NOT stay put with just the suction cups that it came with, even with the more gentle driver. I ended up using a luggage strap to keep it anchored on top of a TV tray by going over the base just behind the steering wheel. This works great as long as I don't have to lug a suitcase anywhere soon!! Overall the whole family from a 40something down to our 12 & 7 yr old, are having alot of fun with the Cobra Wheel!!

Works, but a little difficult to use
I was excited to get this product as I hoped it would provide a better driving experience. Unfortunately, I found the product difficult to use. The floor pedal worked fine (on the carpet that is, otherwise I think it might tend to slide if it were on a tile/wood floor). The steering wheel was difficult to adjust to. The main problem was it was difficult to afix it to anything to keep in from moving. It is hard to hold it on the lap and move the wheel, so we tried setting it on a TV tray, which was better, but it tended to slide off when we made a rapid turn. There was no way to attach it to anything...we tried duck tape, but it ripped off. Finally we lashed it down with cords, and it stayed (more or less). If there were some way to screw it onto a table, it might work better. Anyway, my sons and I were unable to achieve the finer movements and quick adjustments we could get with the standard joystick, so we ended up abandoning it. Now it's sitting in the corner gathering dust. Bottom line is that it works, but it is somewhat clumsy to use, and the joystick provides superior response.

Cobra Wheel
Controls are good but base design is lacking. Suction cups will not hold controls securely to surface and will require additional restraint in order to use control effectively.

Cobra TT Racing Wheel
The racing wheel was fun to use at first,but it takes awhile to get a feel for it.It was a little hard for me to turn the wheel,but i got used to it.The only good place to use it is the living room where there is probably a table in front of the tv.Otherwise you have to move a table back and forth after your done with it.If you use a small portable table it would have to be a heavy one otherwise it would shake and move a lot when you turn.I didn't have time or space in my room for a big table so i had to have my brother hold the wheel down for me on a small movable table so it wouldn't unattach its self and so the table wouldn't move.I didn't have a problem with the wheel it was that there wasn't any good place use it.

Good basic steering wheel
My 10yr old loves this steering wheel. He uses it with his PS2 and Gran Tourismo 4 game. He says it's helping him learn how to drive when he gets his license! Ha! The two issues I've noted are 1) The pedals are not that durable. My son stomped his foot on the brake pedal and broke it the first day. I opened the back and glued a broken plastic holder piece in place. Then it worked fine again. 2) Got to get something to place the steering wheel on or else it will not be stable when you're using it. We used a large thick book as a table base. Overall, it works fine. My son's having fun and hasn't broken it, yet.

PS 2 Legend
The PS2 is one of the best systems around. I've owned game systems starting from the Atari 2600 all the way up to the PS2 and I'd have to say the PS2 offers the biggest bang for the buck. First off, you have a HUGH selection of PS1 games. Then add to that an almost equally hugh selection of PS2 games and you've got a nearly endless array of games covering just about all genres. Many of these games can be found cheap on the used market.

This particular model is the SingStar Ceramic White PS2. It comes with two microphones and the Singstar game(along with 1 controller). I own the Silver PS2 already and have really enjoyed it the last 3 plus years. I decided to add another PS2 to my collection as a backup. I liked the look of this model so that's why I chose it.

Lastly for those into retrogaming, the PS2 has some of the best compilations from companies such as SNK, Taito, Sega, Activision, Capcom, and Atari. Interestingly, a collection from Konami for one of the newest systems only has 3 games. Most of the compilations for the PS2 has at least 20 games(some a lot more & for a modest price too). Great system with a long history and a wide assortment of games.

WHITE BABY
ok so some of you like to stand out from the rest like we want to be 1 of the few that have the white ps2 rather than be the other boring thousands who have the black.

PRICE:

The package is amazing,i got it as a discount and the price is great to get a white PS2 with a controller a singstar game and 2 microphones its a steal.

PS2:

the color is amazing not only look like a console but also a home decoration and the white controller make my black and gray controllers look lonely....still the same amazing system as the black one except for the sexy color and comes wit a game bundle.

fun game if you have more than 1 person playing it me and my friends do it every friday night with pizza,has solo,battle,or duet,the way it shows your review score is like saying your on the top charts selling more albums than your friend lol overall this is amazing and very limited with the PS2 white so hurry up and get 1

a great way to spend some time, add some skills.
I love this machine - look forward to picking up some cheap used games, and getting much better at Guitar Hero, and even Singstar. Up untiln now, have only played
some favorite games on my Apple IMac, this is my first foray into the regular game units, such as Playstation, WII, and Nintendo.

PS2 - great price
Product arrived in perfect condition, exactly as described. Bundle w/Singstar and Ceramic White console was cheaper than black console alone so even though we didn't care much about the game it was a no brainer. If giving as a gift, make the recipient extra happy by also purchasing a memory card--24mb or bigger will make your gamer light up.

Horrible game. Just get Midnight Club: Los Angeles
This game is awful. Horrible handling and horrible gameplay overall, bad online, bad music, and horrible graphics like PS2 graphics. Don't get Juiced 2.

If you want the best Playstation 3 Street Racing game, and one of the best racing games ever, get Midnight Club: Los Angeles.

Everything is awesome except for one thing.
Graphics - Great, fantastic. One of the best at that.

Fun - Everything is fun except for the onlineplay because no one is on there and the fact that when you restart with pinkslips and you lose or quit the game you will still lose your car no matter what.

Hardness - Easy to understand but eventually gets too hard in certain races.

Pros - Great graphics, real looking cars and people, fun to play, and is cheap to buy.

Cons - Poor online companions and Pinkslips and Restarts suck.

If you have a 360 don't buy this for PS3
I rented and played this game on my XBOX 360. Considering the fact that I have about 7 ps3 games and over 50 360 games I decided to by the game but to get the PS3 version to diversify my collection... BAD MOVE! The 360 version is in full high def and looked great and I was expecting the same from PS3 version however it turn out to be rendered in 720p. This made a HUGE difference in the graphics and was VERY disappointing. I've learned my lesson and for now on if a title is available on both systems I'm going with the 360 version. Sony has burned me for the last time...

Great racing game!!
I purchased this game for my 42 year old boyfriend and my boys ranging in age from 12 on down to 7. They all love this game and have put many hours into the game. The graphics look great from what I see from watching it. My boyfriend has beaten it, but still continues to play it because he says there is so much more to unlock. I highley recommend this game for a high speed race ran!!

Shoot 'em up and wreck 'em.
I bought this game for my kids. I remembered Starsky and Hutch from television when I was a kid. This follows them in their Ford Gran Torino through 3 seasons. (Other cars become available.) Each mission is basically about destroying the bad guys car, not shooting or smashing the good guys car, and collecting badges and tokens to move to the next season.

Game play is smooth, graphics are cartoon-like. My kids enjoy the challenge of beating the game, but they tire of collecting badges and tokens although with a few runs they can figure out where they are and compete.

Once they beat the game I am not sure they will want to keep playing, but it has held its value for a month now. When they have friends over that is one of the first discs they pull out just for the sheer fun of driving and shooting. It can be a challenge to win.

For old kids too!
This is a cute fun game for young kids to us very old kids! My wife and I love this game, it is good clean family fun. Great game for two people, we take turns, one driving with the controler and one useing the light gun and shooting at the bad guys. It is different in that both of you are working together doing different things and on the same screen (not a split screen). It is a simple easy game to play (you don't have to remember what every button on the controler is for). If you like light gun shooter games, you will like this one.

Pros & Cons
What the heck?! This game was really good at first. Then it got boring. What's with those ratings?! Come on! At least let me get of the car. This game is good but frustating. It was Okay. At least Hutch has great 357. Magnum. Starsky also has the car we know and love. The Ford Grand Torino. I recommend this game to people who love fast cars and love nice guns.

the best game ever

Pac Man World 2 Playstation 2
This game is a lot of fun. It's a challenge so don't give up. For some reason the playstion 2 game is easier to play then the PC game.

My son can play for hours
There was a time where I would play Pac-Man for days! So, of course, when I saw this game, I bought it! It took us a while to actually beat the game, though we do not play that often. My five-year-old son LOVES it! There are some places which are too hard for him, but he is getting better. Plus, once you beat it, he can go to any world he wants and play. There is no real graphic violence. We have also found it to be much more enjoyable for a younger child than Pac-Man 3.

The other reveiws were correct when they stated that the camera angles were poor. However, if you start a rev roll and move around, you can see stuff that you could not when you tried to just rotate the camera.

Overall, I would buy it again. The replay value is very high and let's face it, it is PAC-MAN!

Amazingly Addictive...
When buying it, I wasn't expecting much. Other Pac Man games are fun, but tend to get boring after a while. This one is SO not boring! There are many levels that you go through, and there's cool things to do even after you finish the game. The controls are fairly simple once you get used to them. The creativity envolved in the levels are clearly shown. Each level is very deifferent from the last and adds a lot of variety. This is a great game for everyone! I recommend it for all ages.

Ice Skating!
Okay, this is not the Pac-Man you know. He's a platformer now! The highlight for me was the ice skating; i wish you could get him to do tricks or something! I spent a lot of time hopping, gliding, and trying to force him to do an axel. Kind of disturbing of me...
Anyways, I probablt don't need to say that I liked this because it reminded me of Spyro, Ty, and a little of Klonoa. I didn't buy it because I got stuck and couldn't get past a part; this was a few years ago. :)

Good Solid Memory Card
I could state the obvious, that these are so wildly expensive by today's memory standards that it borders on the obscene. I could also state my suspicions that the prices suddenly jumped quite a bit after the PS2 price dropped to 0, but I'm sure somebody else has covered both those already in depth.

I'll say that they seem to be solid and well constructed. They fit just fine into my PlayStation 2 Console, with my Logitech PlayStation 2 Cordless Action Controller. I like the black plastic memory cards better, but I can see how the color helps differentiate without putting a label on them. I've been using one of them now for a few months with no issues. I'm not expecting any problems, they're Sony made afterall.

As your main card or as a backup for important saves, you really should get a branded memory card. I've not had any card ever fail on me, but then again I've never had a memory card until about a year ago. The general concensus seems to be, branded is better than 3rd party.

Small, but reliable
On the one hand, 8MB memory cards seem small and over-priced when compared to after-market 32MB and 64MB cards. With how cheap memory is, I don't know why Sony doesn't make large cards themselves, even at a price premium.

On the other hand, my friends have had after-market memory cards die on them. I've never had a problem with these Sony cards.

Personally, I'd rather spend the extra money to make sure that my saved games are secure.

Playstation 2 Memory card 2PK
Getting this 2PK is quite a deal. If your thinking of purchasing a memory card for your P
laystation 2 I suggest you buy this. My games used up the space on the first memory card i bought so I definitely needed a second one. So far I haven't found anything wrong with it, though I've only had it for a few weeks. But if I had to go back and do it again I would definitely buy it. Plus The Stylish colors are nice to.

Great deal and a MUST HAVE for PS2 Users
Pretty Simple review: Sony charges way, way too much for the individual memory cards. And...you really need a seperate card for most of the games now (like guitar hero). I bought these for my kids after they complained that the other cards they had were full. The price is still high relative to prevailing memory prices in the computer world, however buying these cards through Amazon is the absolute best value I could find.

This was a gift for our granddaughter and she seemed very excited to get it, so we're just guessing, but we think that rates a 5 star rating..:-)

Sims Castaway
I bought this game because of my experiances with the other sims games. I was not disappointed. It has all the features the previous games have and its bonus is the castaway stuff. The graphics are good and if you are a fan of Sims you have got to get this game.

Funnest Sims I've Ever Played
As the title says, this is the funnest Sims game I've ever played. Unlike trying to build a house, get a better job, stay happy, etc, this game puts you on the island, trying to survive and find a way off, uncovering clues and solving mysteries, and there is an end (that's new to me!). You can be rescued in different ways and if you choose, you can come back after being rescued (beating the game). This is one of those games where you can enjoy sitting and watching someone else play too. If you want a fun game to play, I recommend this game for all ages and I'm sure you could find it for a decent price either new or used. I'll not be selling mine though, thank you very much!

Game had to be returned
The game was great but the disc itself wasn't. The game would play for no more than an hour without freezing. It would always freeze on the same parts of the game. I had to save constantly or keep starting from the last saved point. The game was used but didn't look very scratched. I would buy this game new not used.

sims2 cast away for ps2
i love this game first time i bought i stayed up for 14 hours just to play and the second day i played all day i forgot to eat. the only thing i dont like about it is that to go to the other island it takes to long . when it loads it takes a long time . even to sleep in the game it takes too. it takes too long to finish one stage because of the loading. i would definitely buy another one if they made a 3rd one .
