A second guitar is a must
If you want to have the most enjoyable play time with this game a second guitar is a MUST!!!! I would say even a thrid or fourth could be pretty amazing!

This PS3 Guitar Hero Les Paul Wireless Guitar was a Great Gift for Our Son!
We bought this PS3 Guitar Hero Les Paul Wireless Guitar for our son for a Christmas Gift, and he has had so much fun playing it! This product is everything it was claimed to be, and we will definitely buy from this seller again! Shipping time was EXCELLENT and it arrived in EXCELLENT condition!

Compatible with guitar hero 5 & rock band 2 yeah!!!!
Wasn't sure if this was going to work with games:PS3 Guitar Hero 5 or Rock Band 2 It does...AWESOME. Had problems locating 2nd guitar for guitar hero 5 PS3, this does the job and for the price I'm gonna order a couple more so we can all play. I love the compatibility of Guitar Hero 5 with Rock Band 2; drums, guitar, bass etc....
A big high 5 on this one wtg....thanks

stewiebro
My son recieved the guitar shortly after I ordered it for him and we owned it for a little more than a month now and he says it is a blast. He has never had any trouble with it. His small hands fit very well around the neck on this one unlike the guitar that comes with other Guitar Hero games. The buttons work immediatly when you puch them unlike some others I have tried. All I can say is "He Loves The PS3 Guitar Hero Les Paul Wireless Guitar" Thanks.

Very unresponsible and barely works in Guitar Hero
This has to be the most unresponsive guitar controller for Guitar Hero. The first time I played GH with this guitar, I immediately switched to the analog controller (one of the few PS3 GH games that I could use analog controller on) because this controller simply did not work. I was also disappointed that it had such a poor battery life, so I always had to keep changing the batteries. This guitar was included when I bought the GH III and Les Paul guitar bundle. Amazingly, the quality of the game is completely the opposite of the guitar's quality. I highly recommend GH III, but if you want to get the most out of GH III, you should save your money and buy the World Tour guitar.

Fun for what it is
Although I dont play this game all the time it is fun when you have a group of people together who arent intimidated about being a goofball. I personally do not sing well but get a kick out of belting out funky cold medina. The in game navigation is a bit difficult to find some functions (specifically the mic sync option to account for delay between mic and speakers) but this doesn't spoil the game. I know you can buy songs online but I do wish the game itself came with more tracks. Or even a voucher for 5 downloads of your choice. I just find it difficult after shelling out cash for a game to immediately pay more money to make it complete.

Sing star
The play list is not that good. But the game is in great shape and came packaged like new. Will order again.

Not enough library
There is a bit of a lag in the mic output in my tv speaker. Does not have a very extensive song library to purchase online. I gave this to my wife as a gift and she loved it.

A Bit Touchy But...
This game has some great songs. For instance, "Dude (Looks Like A Lady)" by Aerosmith, oldie "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" by Elton John and Kiki Dee, even "Funky Cold Medina by Tone Loc but it is a tad touchy with your voice. You have to sound a bit like the original artists to get a really high score. But the fact remains it is a real blast!!! I guess some may not like the variety of styles the songs have but this to me is its appeal.

Get it for the microphones, not for the songs
I bought this for the microphones, not for the songs. I enjoyed both the Abba and Queen versions of Singstar more than this -- we hardly ever put this disc in. It's a somewhat inexpensive way to get all the songs if you really wanted all these songs, but there are few if any on the list that I would have purchased separately if given the chance. [...].

Since you need the mikes to play, though, and they aren't really sold individually (unless you get them used), this becomes an attractive option.

The gameplay itself is a lot of fun, and is accessible to nearly all ages (though my five year old is upset her older sisters consistently beat her scores -- but that doesn't stop her from loudly singing, mostly on-key).

Good gift
It's old, but I just got it with my husband's Christmas gift so he could have something to play. He loves it.

Well worth the $ for me...
This game is not without its flaws listed in other reviews. HOWEVER, as someone who is not a college basketball superfan, but still enjoys playing a basketball that might be a year out of date... this is perfect for me. First of all, I only paid (its now) which was less than the 2010 version! I think I can wait til next year and get the 2010 version for cheaper while I play this game and repeat the process every year! Up to date rosters are not a must for me.

The gameplay is enjoyable and I really like playing dynasty mode where you have to start off as a coach in a much lesser known/ smaller program and have to recruit and play much better teams until you can get better job offers, etc. I really like this mode because its exciting to attempt and take a smaller school (NIU, Indiana St, etc) to the NCAA tourney. I'd reccomend it for sure for to anyone who wants some college hoops in their life.

SOLID GAME!
I owned 2008 before this and decided to get this version, just because 2008's controls sucked. Still the old and new versions were fun and this ups the ante just right. The graphics are better, the controls tighter and the action solid. Nothing great or revolutionary, but fun and easy to pick up and play! Plus if you go to one of the schools, the arenas all look great!

Lots of fun
The Dynasty mode is a ton of fun and the gameplay is pretty darn good. Once you get used to playing defense, shooting threes and backing down people down low this game is pretty easy to be good at. The game play isn't a ton different from the other college basketball games, but the graphics seem to be way better. If you don't have 07 or 08 and don't wanna spend 50 bucks this game is very fun.

Blind leading the Blind at EA on this basketball game.
Hello I am an avid EA sports gamer, however, I only like college Football and Basketball. I am finding it harder and harder each year to keep funding EA's minimal efforts on their College Basketball titles. They continue to change almost everything about the games from year to year to no avail. So basically just when you get use to something it is changed again the very next year but it feels like the R & D for the new changes didn't happen. The game-play is so choppy and alien feeling that I spent the first week of ownership just adjusting sliders which this year actually did work. The online play is terrible and because of terribly unrealistic player attributes the lowly schools can beat the best teams like UNC/DUKE/OU/Texas/Kansas/Pitt/UCONN etc.. with ease.

Online play is atrocious... If you are winning all the other player needs to do is quit and you will not get credit for the "W" unless you are deep into the 2nd half, so basically they quit at half-time when they know that you will win. I must admit although online play is really bad, I am still compelled to continue playing.

Back to player attributes.. All Freshmen were given ridiculously high player attributes meaning that online people just sub in their Freshmen and they play like Lebron James x5 players all game. EA has offered no patches for this even with the outcry from the gaming community. This game gets low marks from me because I refuse to lower my standards and expectations.

I would like to say though that with a few tweaks and some more checks and balances this game could be great, It just isn't now though. Next year I will either rent or borrow this game first before playing it. At times this game is a step away from genius but then falls into morbid disabilities.

Come on EA start trying a little harder please.

Great controller
This controller is great. It does what it's supposed to do but the only reason why it was 4 stars overall was because the blue led is located in the front of the controller which can be blinding if you play at night like I do. No problems with connections as others pointed out. It's best value for the price.

Not all we could get...
It's cool to receive your own turbo controller. Personally I never use the six axis function included; nevertheless it seems well built but on the other hand, the button symbols (X,O...) just washed away during the first week of usage. Now I have black buttons all over the control. Also the keypad tends to get stuck when I press it down, that's a problem because I need to quickly turn off/on it to get it back on track, of course if you're playing COD or Resistance, tell me how valuable are those seconds... they just kill you like 5 five times while waiting...hehehe.
The usb device works fine, not that many troubles as I expected.

I expected a whole lot more....
This game took me back to the days of Dreamcast with it's player movement....

NCAA 2004 on PS2 was lightyears better than this "thing"....

I'm a Tulsa Golden Hurricane fan & to see a generic stadium that was even close to Tulsa's field rendered this game unplayable for me....

I expected so much more & not to have a teams home field when a game from 2004 on PS2 does....WEAK WEAK WEAK !!!!

NCAA Football 09 Review
NCAA Football 09 is a visualy stunning colledge football game! There are lots to do on this game, from Mascot games, to tug-a-war, to Campus Legend, you'll never get bored with this game!! Home Field Atvantage is a pretty cool feature, where when your playing on the road, the crowd cheers with earpeircing noise that rattles the quarter back and pumps up the home team to make the play. Campus Legend is really fun to play too! You go to school, practice and decide what to do on your free time whether it's going to the library to catch up on reading, or hittin the gym for the next game. The thing is, if your grades aren't up you won't be able to play in the game until you bring them up. I guess it prepares athletes for what to expect in college. Anyways this is a really good football game. The only complaint that I have is that the CPU's on your team sometimes act like morons, especially in Campus Legend mode, where you can't play as anyone but yourself. Like this one time where I threw a short pass to the full back, he caught the ball, and ran straight for the sideline!!!! Or when im told to do a running play, I give the half back the ball, and he jukes and spins for no reason usually running right into a defender for a loss of yards. Besides that, this is a decent football game, which is why I give it a 5/5!

7 yr old gets it - it's a little harder for me!
It has all the college teams he knows - free shipping price was better than local trade in shop!

College football fever
I remember playing MADDEN on my SEGA Genesis back in the early 90s; thought it was the greatest thing in the world. My, oh my. Comparing the early MADDEN games to ones like NCAA 09 would be like comparing a Model T to a Ferrari. Yes, there is that much difference!

The graphics on these days are unbelievable. Also, the running game is much more pronounced & realistic than football video games used to be. On this one, you can run all sorts of off tackle plays & hit the hole "just right" for a substantial gainer. Earlier football games were always much more geared towards the pass than they were the run.

I will say that playing defense is actually more difficult than playing offense, which is the reverse of previous games. I used to pride myself on my playmaking ability on "D" on the MADDEN games. On this one, it's more of a Chess match as I'm rarely able to make a tackle or even get off a block.

If you go to the DYNASTY feature you can play an entire season w/your favorite team. You can even play multiple games in the season. Best thing is that it will save your season stats & you can watch as your team climbs up the polls (assuming you keep winning).

All in all, if you're a fan of college football, then this game is for you. My team is Michigan State, and I enjoy clobbering other teams from around the country. Take your team & you can clobber everyone else too!

The best NCAA football period!
This game is really sweet! I'm not sure where the negative hoopla is coming from. Maybe you've play too much NCAA, or maybe you should stop buying EVERY game, every year. Either way, my expectations weren't as major. Though I've owned 07 and 08 for the 360, I like this version. It's still fun and an overall decent college football experience. Heck, what other college football game are you going to play? The atmosphere, cheerleaders, mascots, and stadiums all feel authentic. Not too much changed from 08, but the overall look feels closer to madden 09, while 08 felt closer to madden 07 - with the up close imagery. It's quick, fast paced and plays the same way it has for years, with a few minor adjustments both good and bad. Either way, it's great and cheaper than 2010! Enjoy :}

Its like butter.
You take the cable out of the box, you hook up the ends to where they go, and you're done. Boom, your PS2/PS3 looks better dude. F the pack-in composite cables, this is where its at. Its like the real people.

Horrible
My HDTV has periodic flashes where the screen goes black with this cable. It's fine for rpgs and such, but really annoying for sports games and shooters. I tested another cable, so it's definitely this defective cable's fault. It's cheap, but get something that works.

Get this Product !!!
I am absolutly blow away by this product. Now that it is only a few dollars more then the sony brand there should be no reason not to buy this product!

I have two PS3's now (one is my dads). On my TV I can run HDMI, but on my fathers TV it is slightly older TV that doesn't have HDMI inputs. When I orginally bought my PS3 I also bought the sony component cable to hook up to my dads tv (because its bigger than mine) and when I used it I was getting diagonal lines running through the tv at all resolution levels. Now using the monster component cable lines are gone and high resolution looks just as good as if it were running with hdmi.

I am completely blown away from by this product and how much of a difference a monster cable does. I always said other cheaper brands are just as good as monster cable... sadly I am going to say it does make a difference in this case. And the price difference is negible now too so there should be no reason to buy the other brands.

The cable itself is about 8 feet long, and about 1/2" thick (not joking the thing is a lot thicker then most power cords), has the 3 component male ends with two stereo audio RCA cables that are all run as a single cord for most of the lenght. Just be carefull when connecting as there are two red coloured wires but slightly different pattern of colouration. The connections were nice and tight and found a slight turn and push method worked the best for getting them in. Perfect fit into the back to the PS3.

I am running optical cable Mediabridge - Toslink Cable - Optical Digital Audio Cable - 15ft for sound so I don't know how the sound is with this cable.

If you need to run component for the PS3 this is the perfect item.

Blown away as soon as I plugged it in
Is cable is incredible the look the feel it makes me want to replace every cable that is not is not a Monster cable and I'm using it for my ps2 and it's awesome. I'm now looking at the xbox 360 Component and the Wii Version. My Ps2 hook up to my HDTV does the job well the picture pops up like I've never seen before and I'm defiantly buying Monster cable (Only) for now on thanks monster.

Top-notch product
I bought this product a few weeks ago and I have been very impressed. If you use the composite cable that comes with the Playstation 3 and then switch to this cable, the difference will be like night and day, even with a standard definition TV. You will see a drastic improvement in the picture and audio quality. The picture will be much clearer and the colors will be much brighter and more vivid. This cable is also extremely well shielded so you will have little to no interference. For example, with the component cables I had before I got this product, there would be distortion and lines going up the screen if I had my PS3 on at the same time as my PC. However, this interference completely disappeared after I started using this product.

In short, if you want to get the most out of you PS3's visual and audio capabilities but don't have HDMI inputs on your TV, Monster Cable's Playstation 3 component cable is the way to go.

guitar stinks
Rating is for the guitar that comes with the PLAYSTATION 3 RockBand. This was a gift for my daughter for Christmas. The guitar strum was DOA. The whole unit made a funny humming noise. Followed the directions from the company for a return after being on hold for an hour plus. They said to use "canned air". We searched all day to find any store open to buy the canned air to spray into the strum. No luck there. Finally got the canned air--still did what it did before, which was to not really move at all on the down stroke. There are enough bad reviews on this and the strum to suggest that there is no quality control or testing of batches prior to shipping. Now we have to pay for a return (bought on Amazon). The packaging is so tight that repacking to send to Amazon is crazy. Now we have a can of canned air--that we never needed or wanted before.

Get guitar hero guitars instead :)
The one that came with my RB2 had a busted overdrive too - I opened it up to check the tilt sensor and it was fine. If I plugged guitar in the PC, it WOULD send a signal once I tilted past 15 degrees or so, but in the RB2 game with the ps3, it didn't care. Something was wrong.

Solution: Picked up cheap guitar hero game for with 2 wireless guitars and hubs, gave away one guitar.. I like the strum better, and overdrive works. Also looks cooler.

(I gave the guitar hero game away haha)

No overdrive
I just got this today, and it works perfectly fine if you don't want to go into overdrive. Trying to deploy overdrive with this thing made we want to scream. I felt like smashing it into tiny little bits because I would spend so much time frustrated at it while trying to deploy overdrive that I would completely fail out of the song. Don't buy this. Look for the newer model.

Better than the rest
I've played GH, RB1, RB2, and the WarBeast guitars. The RB1 is still my favorite, to the point that I've ordered another RB1 guitar to have as a backup when one of the others dies. I don't know if anyone else has tried this and had this issue, but when playing one RB1 with one RB2 guitar, there's a lot of notes missed - I think there's trouble with the wireless signals between the two different guitars. But I've gotten more 100% with my RB1 guitar than any of the others...

worth the buy
i really like it, but the thing that they got wrong was that they made the strum bar silent and the frett buttons loud and clanky, what they should of done is make the strum bar a little louder and the fret buttons silent.

overall: great looking guitar controller and plays well.

Great second controller
I was looking for an inexpensive second controller for multiplayer with friends, and this one works just great for that. The buttons and thumb sticks aren't much different from the official Sony controller. It lacks rumble, and a USB extension cable is handy since it's not wireless.

Great controller
works like it should, no problems with it so far. The light can get annoying after a while when playing in the dark, but like i said as long you take care of it, it will take care of you.

Cool Lava and Lights
The lights are almost blinding when you play in the dark, and it's just as good as a wireless PS3 controller. I own a standard wireless PS3 controller as well as this one and I have to say I don't see the difference in gameplay. I payed a cheap price for it too. If you want a cheap controller for your PS3 and you think is too much to pay for one controller, get this one-it's awesome.

worth it
cant beat it, only [...], only draw backs are the usb cord is only about 6ft long, and at night the lights are extremely bright, but for a low price its still worth it

Great Controller
This controller is awesome! Low price and it lights up. Very good alternative to the cordless Sixaxis which is much more. If you're going corded, go with this controller.

very early christmas present
I ordered this item from amazon back in October of this year so that I could get a good start on my holiday shopping. Not until recently had I seen this item for the PS3 and I knew that when I bought the item it was going to be as prommised in the pikcture because my experience with this site has always been a good one and all of the items that I order come looking brand new and always very quickly! I have no complaints and the ordering is simple clear and exactly what I look for. Thank you Amazon and its sellers!

Silver DS3
My Ds3 controller arrived at my house in the time they said it would, i will definitely be purchasing from them again.

Great!
the silver is very nice! works just like any other PS3 controllers (of course)

U.S. consumers beware
If you live in the United States and are thinking of purchasing the Japanese version of the Dual Shock 3 controller beware that you have no recourse replacing this item if it breaks within Sony's 90-day warranty period. I owned this controller for one month prior to the X and square buttons becoming unusable. I called SCEA to have the broken controller replaced and they instructed me to send it to their fulfillment department in San Mateo, CA. Two months later, without any contact from SCEA, I called them to receive a status update. They told me that region-specific systems and peripherals must be returned to regional centers (i.e. Japan in this instance). They said they would send me the broken controller back if I desired and I could then send it to Japan. Not a lot of good that will do me now considering the warranty has expired. Thanks Sony.

feels exactly the same as the us version -- no improvement there. its silver, so it wont be lost among others easily.
thats about it. i was hoping this would be a more responsive pad than the us one, as was the case with the ps2 dualshocks (japanese one was way better for ps2). this one is the same thing. youre paying like 14+ bucks more just for the color; the fact that its japanese is really of no consequence whatsoever (made in china like the us one anyway, lol). as long as you know that, you should be good.

Amazon.com Product Description:
Start a Band...the Guitar Hero Way

Guitar Hero World Tour transforms music gaming by expanding Guitar Hero's signature guitar gameplay into a cooperative band experience that combines advanced wireless instruments with online and offline gameplay modes including online Band Career and 8-player "Battle of the Bands," which allows two full bands to compete head-to-head online. The game features a slick redesigned guitar as well as a Music Studio music creator that lets players compose, record, edit and share their own rock ‘n’ roll anthems.

Wireless Instruments

New to GHWT is a redesigned, more responsive guitar controller, which features a touch-sensitive slide bar on the neck that allows the player to play through certain song passages without needing to strum.

Be the Next Great Songwriter

Music Studio lets players express their musical creativity by giving them access to a full complement of tools to create digital music from scratch utilizing the guitar controller and drum kit. Players can create their tracks and then play them in-game or share the recordings with the entire Guitar Hero community through GHTunes. GHTunes allows other gamers from around the world to download and play the community's original tracks. Available to PlayStation 3 gamers is Line 6's guitar tone technology, enabling them to use amps, cabs, and effects from the Line 6 POD.

Create the Band

Budding rock stars can live out their rock ‘n’ roll fantasies by playing either a single instrument or any combination of instruments, in addition to the full band experience. When rocking as part of a band, up to four players can jam together in quickplay or as they progress through a career. Both band and single-player careers feature non-linear progression giving artists the option to change difficulty and instruments with a variety of different gigs available at any time.

Never Jam Solo Again

Virtual musicians in need of band mates can take their careers online forming worldwide ensembles so no rock star ever has to play a gig solo. Plus, GHWT adds a "Battle of the Bands" modes, which allows eight players to join online and challenge each other band-to-band to establish global supremacy.

Customize Everything

The character creator allows gamers to create a rock star with style as unique as their own. Absolute customization from the clothes, to the facial and body structure, to the tattoos and accessories, players are encouraged to unleash their inner rock legend. The Rock Star Creator doesn't just allow players to build the ultimate rock god; the in-depth creators include the ability to customize guitars, drums and microphones. Adding yet another layer of personalization, gamers can create custom logos for their instruments, band, or album covers.

A Set List for the Ages

The Guitar Hero World Tour set list is comprised entirely of master recordings from some of the greatest artists of all-time including Van Halen, Linkin Park, The Eagles, and Sublime. There are over 85 tracks, plus frequent downloadable singles and track packs. In addition to the killer track list, the game will feature rock icons such as Hayley Williams of Paramore and Travis Barker of +44 and blink-182.

Practically the only one you need...maybe.
Guitar Hero World Tour is a great game, as far as the musical rhythm based games go. I wouldn't say it is anything special just another part of the line up. This time Activision decided to actually learn from Harmonix as they introduce the ability to play with other instruments aside from the guitar. It is best played in a group or online, but other than that it is nice to be able to play other instruments rather than the guitar that the game was originally designed for.

Guitar Hero World Tour Guitar Kit + Game
Very Cool songs for people of any generation. The guitar is easy to use, and the game has really neat graphics along with great gear (such as guitars, jackets, shirts, etc.) It's a must have for any age music fanatic.

My kids love this
Game delivered super fast. product likes describe.Game is fun but my kids complaint there is no online challenge.

Another great guitar hero release
I like the guitar kit for fact I love the guitar anyhow. If I do in the future wanna add drums separately and a mic I can although I ain't one who likes to sing anyhow. The songs on here are good, boss battles are fun as well. I like the fact now you can make your own songs. The playstation 3 store has lots of good add ons too extra songs as well. I chose the ps3 version for that reason alone over the wii and such as I liked the psn addons .The graphics are excllent. game play is really fun as one comes to expect from this game. I haven't tried any of the rockband games yet but may in the future. I like how you can also make your own avatar and personalize him or her which seems new to this as well. There are many features on this that one will have hours of fun with. Pick this up if your interested in a really fun game for the ps3 that all members of the family and your friends can enjoy. Plus you can also use the guitar to play "bass" instead if you rather play that instead of the guitar. ITs avery fun game and a good way to learn about music and play it.

Great Guitar, Great Game
Another year, another GH. I purchased this for just a few bands, Tool, 311, Sublime, Hendrix, and Metallica. The others were just a bonus and for the most part they are fun play, with of course a few exceptions. For me it is about 80% are fun, 5% are ok, and 15% just suck and only played them to get to the next setlist. With that off my chest i felt like it was worth it just to get to play the new bands that GH has never had like Tool. As for the guitar, i love it. It's so much better than that Rock Band piece of crap. The biggest addition is the touch pad on the guitars neck. I only found myself using this a few times during the game because it is not forced on you which is cool because it takes some time to master touching the correct pads. It is also harder to touch the pad because it is just smooth plastic over all the colors and it is hard to tell what colors your fingers are on. All in all i would recommend this to anyone looking for more GH.
