Deadly, Motion-Controlled Combat with Wii Technology Your Wii controller gives you the ability to move stealthily and attack quickly, just like the real creatures these characters are based on. Each animal has a unique mode of operating, which means that the two interconnected narratives behind this game each offer their own distinctive challenges to conquer.
As the armored, action-oriented scorpion, you'll string together stinging blows into deadly combo moves that culminate in cinematic finishes and decimate your opponents. Playing as the sneaky tarantula requires a little more finesse--you'll find yourself leaping from above onto your nemesis, throw out neatly aimed shots of webbing to paralyze your prey, and finishing creatures off with your devastating fangs.
Wild Enemies and a Sinister Back Story
It takes skill and composure to master the moves the scorpion and tarantula have at their disposal. And, even after you think you've got every move down, you'll find you need to learn methods, since these life-and-death struggles take place between you and a huge array of vicious, hazardous creatures, including wolf spiders, rattlesnakes, Gila Monsters, Tarantula Wasps, black widows, mantises, enemies of your own species, rats, and even humans.
Beyond the immediacy of fighting for survival, this game features a story of greed and betrayal in the human world. Slowly unveiled from the disparate perspectives of the two headline creatures, this evolving storyline helps keep even advanced players engaged and guessing at the implications of their own actions.
Explore Brutal, Unforgiving Environments
Whichever creature you're playing as, you'll have 360-degree access to a wide range of 3D environments based in the harsh Sonoran Desert. You'll explore a gloomy maze of thorny brambles, forgotten underground tunnels filled with rusting pipes, an above ground wasteland packed with people's garbage, and even a desolate gas station. Each arena promises to challenge your skills as a hunter and a survivor in its own way, while unique angles and a sense of scale that turns small, familiar objects into major obstacles help make these environs especially prickly.

game
I bought this game for my husband. He really likes playing it, and our daughter likes to watch him gobble up and fight other creatures.

bug eating,crawling up walls,AWESOME!!
I am eleven years old and I absolutely LOVE this game. Being the tarantula and the scorpion really brings this game to life. The good things are feeding off of bugs(which is an upgrade you have to unlock),seeing things from an arachnids point of view(for example, praying mantisis, radios etc. A lot of parts you come close to encountering the humans which makes it even more interesting. I think the tarantula is easier to kick butt with because it is more agile. It is also better to explore with because you get to upgrade to climb on the ceiling! The scorpion on the other hand kills creatures that are grounded and not as agile. Its stinger is useful for destroying creatures that are slow. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME FOR ALL WII OWNERS!!!

It's great because it's different!
This game has been everything I thought it would be. I haven't gotten very far, but that's more to blame on my lack of gaming skills rather than game flow.
If you are tired of all the 'classic' scenarios in gaming (i.e.- racing, shoot 'em up, or levels), than this game is nice for you. The free-roaming ability of it to let you just go whereever you like much like the actual creatures is great.
And the variety of creatures that you can come across is amazing not to mention eventually fighting 'man' himself.
A great find!

awesome
this is one of the most compelling Wii games out there, it uses the motion contollers pretty well and its so different from the many games you can find for any system. the only drawback could be that its relatively short, so once you finished it, you feel the need for a longer game.

Unique Adult Themed Game
This game was a pleasant surprise. It use a unique concept to tell a story. In this game you alternate levels playing as a scorpion and a tarantula. As you progress you learn new moves(by gaining points from killing creatures) and increase your health(by collecting golden crickets). The scorpion has some wicked finishing moves performed by doing on-screen gestures. There are also grubs in each level to collect that unlock artwork.
The graphics are really good, all of the creature models in the game are very well done. The story is portrayed through random clips that occur at particular points in the game from the viewpoint of the scorpion or tarantula. It's a nice adult-themed story.
The only shortcoming of the game in my opinion is it's length. It only takes about 10 hours to complete. Other than that it's worth picking up!
