Fine cable!
Fine cable! excellent finish gold plated, shielded cable. Much higher than the original that comes with the playstation 3

Buyer Beware! NOT THE SAME AS THE OLD AV CABLE!
Ok, i saw this on amazon a day or two ago, and it looked interesting. I needed a new AV cable for my PS3 anyway, being as it's almost 4 years old. so i order it, .99 one-day shipping (Amazing). So I get it, open it, and i think to myself, "Goddamn it Sony, Damn it..." The wires are only split about 4 inches down, then it all merges into one cable... now this is a bad thing for me because i have a stereo, and i need the left and right audio wire to be at least 3 feet long, but since it's all basically one wire, i need to go to RadioShack and get some RCA couplers and more wires. If you have a stereo as well, do not do the same thing as me! make sure you buy couplers and wires with to hook up everything with first (Providing you don't have those items already). It's still a nice cable, and i intend to use it, but i wish sony would make it known to their loyal customers of what their product is.

Great Sony OEM Cable, awesome price!
This came next day using Amazon Prime, in OEM packaging. Good cable for my son's PS2 (even though it also states PS3, which I would only use HDMI cables for since it has blu-ray!). Old cable was giving spotty pictures and screen was color changing off and on. Replaced with this cable and all was good!

It works!
Build quality is great and it gets the job done. It did exactly what I needed it to do.

Well, what can I say?
You're buying a first-party cable here, so expect to retain that cherished first-party feeling Sony puts into all their products. I bought this cable to hook up to my postage-stamped size TV and everything worked accordingly. The aluminum finish on the cable connectors are a beautiful touch and really make my TV look amazing. My only gripe about using AV with a PS3 is that you're going to get what you paid for. The PS3's interface wasn't designed to be on a 19" SD TV - actually any SD TV - and those little 12pt lines of text that look gorgeous in 1080p are going to be microscopic to the point of squinting on most SD TV. It's a crime to use such an incredible machine on such a terrible piece of technology, so if you're purchasing this cable for daily use you should really think twice about what you're using your PS3 for.
