Very Good Controller!
This is a very fine product!
From Madcatz come this Fender licensed Bass Replica! the thing is huge!!! almost life size! gives your game a "reality" feeling... buttons are great! obvious lack of whammy bar is obvious! duh! but it has a knob you can use as a whammy... very cool... instead of desecrating the bass figure, they put this knob, i really like it! overall very good product! 100% recommended!

Bass is great but doesn't last
I love this bass = it's the only instrument I will play guitar or bass with on Rock Band since the longer neck feels much more comfortable. I don't even mind that it's not wireless - find it more responsive than wireless versions I have used. But I have to say one thing - they don't last - I am now on my 4th bass (and ordering another as a back up) due to various breakdowns - at this price it's not worth sending them back for a repair in my view - once we repaired the wire which seemed to have been pulled out (my fault I guess) but then the tilt mechanism failed on the next one and the strumm bar failed on the 3rd. Latest version still going strong after 5 months so I am hopeful but again, since I like it so much I am getting a back up for the next anticipated failure.
I tried the wireless version of the bass and it was totally bad - whammy know and fret buttons both stiff and hard to play - losing me tons of points before I gave up.

okk
this came to me late in the in the mail first off also i got a guitar not a bass and the wamy bar doesnt work the sound adjustment is also broken buy from a different seller

Great addition if you already have drums, mic and stratocaster
The Precision Bass is a nice addiction if you already have the rest of the Rock Band instruments. It looks great; the dual strum bar works nicely. The whammy knob takes some getting used to, but other than that it's a great guitar. I would recommend it if you're looking for a second guitar for your collection, or if you play a lot of bass and want a more realistic feel.

Trash it.
This bass is horrible. I mean, it looks nice, but the buttons are unresponsive, the whammy bar has been replaced with an un-useable knob. It is flimsy and many parts break VERY easily. It is NOT wireless. It does NOT work with any Guitar Hero game. The Star Power activator never works properly.. Come on Mad Catz! This could have been an awesome peripheral. Instead, you give us this abomination! You should be ashamed of yourselves!
Do NOT buy this piece of trash! It is a pile of junk!
