Intuitive Cooking Movements and Improved Graphics
With the Wii remote as your universal cooking utensil, you'll be placed in total control of the cooking action as you chop, grate, slice, stir, roll, and much more. Hold and point the remote in many different ways (depending on the task) to get the real sensation of cooking in the kitchen. You'll need to be quick on your feet and precise in your movements, otherwise the meal might be ruined!

Looking better than ever with all new 3D graphics, Mama and her friends are ready to tackle 50 all new recipes. The delicious, new dishes include parfait, French fries/onion rings, Nestle Toll House chocolate chip cookies, ratatouille, pancakes, boiled flounder, and loads of other tasty creations. The updated gameplay mechanics integrate the Wii Remote utensil play with additional rhythmic movements that makes cooking easier and more enjoyable.

Kitchen Game Modes are Loads of Fun
Cooking Mama World Kitchen has three gameplay modes: Cook with Mama, and the new additions, Let's Cook and Cooking Contest. If you've cooked with Mama before you'll remember the first game mode where you learn the kitchen basics under Mama's watchful eye. Do well and you'll earn gold, silver and bronze medals based on your culinary skills. When you play the new game mode, Let's Cook, you'll share your prepared meals with Mama's finicky friends who will judge the quality of your cooking. And with Cooking Contest you can team up with a real or in-game friend to prepare ingredients in the new cooperative play mode.

Hilarity and Surprises Abound
Interlaced in the gameplay are a host of new kitchen surprises that take shape as comedic mini-games. For example, you might flip a burger up in the air and Mama's dog will run by and snatch it away, or toss a pancake and then control Mama as she runs in to save it with her hilarious apron catch.

Another cool feature allows you to take a snapshot of these funny moments so you can review them after gameplay, or you can choose to replay kitchen mini-games in their entirety. Cooking Mama World Kitchen uses real-time effects that make you feel like you're actually cooking. You can adjust your timing and make decisions about your next course of action based on what you see happening on the screen -- if food is starting to look burned, you can make a snap decision and remove it quickly from the burner. The intuitive gameplay, 3D graphics, new game modes, and hilarious mini-games work together to create a fun, interactive game.

really GOOD!!!
this game is really good game!!!!!!!! i can't believe that some people say that this game is HARD!!!!!!!!??????? itz not hard at all.well anyway it's just a fun game so i recommend buying this!

Sad follow up...
If you played the original and loved it and are thinking of buying this game DO NOT! I figured I'd give it a try when I found it for , and well frankly I'd like my money back. I wouldn't even pay a dollar for this game, it's nothing like the original. The controls are completely different which makes it much less like cooking things and requires a skill and speed set that I personally will never possess. I've played the game all of twice for less than 10 minutes because I get so frustrated at being able to get it to do anything. You aren't going through the motions of the cooking like the first one you are trying to really quickly do the right jerk of the remote in time to get the arrow in a certain space on the bar and every time you get one the movement of the arrow drastically increases, I can't hardly get two in a row much less three. Don't waste your time or money with the product, just love the original and let's hope they go back to that if another one comes out.

Great game!
My daughter absolutely loves playing this video game! Very entertaining and easy to use. Would recommend it to eveybody!

falena's review
My daughters luv this game as well as my niece. It was on their Xmas list, however we have it on nintendo ds which made it easier for the wii.

pretty disappointing
My kids were real excited till they tried it. It was embarassing how stupid this game was. It isn't really even a game. After about 5 minutes they both decided they were not interested at all. An easy pass.

Boring?
I've only played this game in single-player mode and it is very boring. I heard it is better with multi-player, I'll try it and hopefully it will redeem any aspect of this game. You just go through cooking recipes... It looks like it's going to be fun but I just found it boring. I finished "Order Up" before starting this and that was an extremely fun cooking game. This pales in comparison. Play it instead if you get the chance, although it doesn't have multi-player.

Very entertaining with friends.
When I got the first Cooking Mama for the Nintendo DS, I loved it and got Cooking Mama: Cook Off in a flash. At that time, when someone had a Wii it was the most popular thing (cause of them being in such high demand). So all my friends came and played this game with me and it was so much fun. Cooking with the hard to understand mama, was a big bunch of laughs. After a while though, we unlocked all the recipes and all deceived to move on to a different game (which became Super Paper Mario).
Although we did unlock all the recipes, I still play it but it becomes old and not really challenging. I really liked this game and its no disappointment for me. But I still think Cooking Mama is best on the DS.

Very very fun
I was amazed by how much I enjoyed this game, it is so CHEERFUL and the colors are all pastel and wonderful. Mama has lots of personality, and it is fun to develop the various mini-skills. Recommend it highly to elevate one's mood :-)

Crowd Pleaser
This game is a crowd pleaser. I have two boys ages 8 and 6 (youngest is Special Needs) and they both love to play it with me.

My 8 year old loves this cooking game!
Not a challenging game, just a silly, fun cooking game. I have NO idea what MaMa is saying half the time but it doesn't interfere w/the game- it just makes you laugh. My 8 year old just loves this game. Without realizing it we played for over an hour yesterday. I'd recommend it for families w/kids under 10.
