Useless POC
I tried everything. I looked up fixes, etc. Nothing worked. It just didn't work for my PS3 Rockband and Rockband 2. Gave it away to Salvation Army. Don't waste your money.

Great Substitute for Prince Guitar
I purchased this to complete my costume for 2009 Halloween as I was dressed as Prince. The next closest thing was an air up guitar they sell in Europe. I realize this wasn't what the guitar was made for, but it served it's purpose =). If you'd like to see pictures, send me a message =).

Does not work with Firmware 3.10
The guitar was great until the latest update from Sony (firmware 3.10). Now it doesn't work at all. I tried all the fixes suggested on forums but nothing works.

BAD PRODUCT, PLEASE READ REVIEW
OK so i bought this product online for 36.38. I bought this product for ROCK BAND 2 for the PS3 console. My anticipation was really high, couldnt wait to use this product. Problem 1...It took almost 3 WEEKS for the product to finally come, and all that time, CUSTOMER SERVICE was horrible. They always put me on hold and never gave me an exact date for the product to arrive. Ok for the product now.....The guitar looks so UNREALISTIC, and weighs less than 5 pounds. Just looking at it from 10 feet away looks so UNREALISTIC. When i tried to sync and establish a connection with both the foot pedal and the guitar didn't work, because the man at customer service told me that i should press the nyko button consecutive times so it could sync. When that was accomplished, I noticed that the foot pedal adapter kept on triggering the green button without me even pressing it. And thats what it kept on doing. I disconnected the guitar and even took off the batteries and it continued do that. I knew that either the adapter was defected or it just wasnt compatible for ROCK BAND 2. THat was my problem...THis product is SUCKS for the price. I sent it back and was reimbursed with my money. Its best you pay 69.99 for an official wireless guitar because these independent companies are just oPlayStation 3 FrontMan Wireless Guitar - White

USED TO HAVE GOOD TIMES - NOT ANY MORE
As a lot of people, I used to have fun with these guitars! NOT ANY MORE. They are simply not working with the new PS3 UPDATE. It was good while it last. Nothing else to say.

Be careful
This guitar was very cheap but it doesn't work very well and sometimes it doesn't work at all. It's made of cheap plastic that broke when it was leaning against a chair and fell. Not a hard impact. The buttons don't push very well. Most the time I can't get it to work with the PS3. I would recommend saving up for a more expensive one that actually works.

Great Guitar when it worked
Before the latest PS3 Update, this guitar was fantastic, I even got it from amazon over a year ago and it was only 15 bucks a guitar, so I was extremely happy. The guitars are solid, the strum bar won't break like the Guitar Hero 4 guitar's.
The only design flaw with the guitar is the neck. I've grown used to it and have big enough hands where it doesn't bother me but if you have small hands the neck size of this guitar may be an issue for extended play. The neck is more rectangular-ish with curved edges than the guitar hero guitars which tend to incorporate a more crescent moon back side to the necks making it easy for people with small hands to hold. Still, this is a minor downfall to the guitar, been using it for a year and haven't had anyone complain about it.
Unfortunately the PS3 is Blue tooth, so any guitar you buy should require a usb dongle, not just these 3rd party guitars, (my guitar hero 3 guitar still required a connection through usb).

I mean, again, this thing is reliable, full functioning, and very easy to get used to. dont let the picture fool you, although it looks extremely cheap. this guitar really isn't, it's rock solid.

Finally, as of the last PS3 update, this guitar is useless. Sony updated their firmware and made the frontman guitars not work, they say there is a goofy temporary fix you can attempt by plugging/unplugging the usb dongle, but I haven't bothered to try that. When a new update is released I can only hope that it makes my two Frontman guitars work. Until then.... Don't buy this guitar yet, since we don't ever know if it will work again.

How to get this to work with Rock Band!!!! (After PS3 Firmware Update)
When you first turn on Rock Band (1 or 2) hook the reception remote in with it set on guitar hero setting then hit the button on the guitar, next hit the button on the remote again to go into fast blinking mode, then hit the button on the guitar to go into fast blinking mode then hit the button again and the light on the guitar will go red, this means the ps3 will not register the guitar, turn your remote to rock band setting the light on the guitar will go blue (the guitar is now registering but...) the game will act as if you are flying through hitting buttons so... turn the remote to back to guitar hero setting, the guitar will flash clear then it will either go to red (which means again it didn't register or...) it will turn blue or orange which means it did register. If it did not register and it turned red, turn back and forth between the guitar hero and rock band settings the guitar will eventually pick up the remote after 3 to 5 switchs between the guitar hero and rock band settings, this is how i do it anyway. Thanks and good luck.

Nothing but problems
We have had nothing with problems so far when trying to play Rock Band. The GH seems to work fine, although you can tell this is a few steps down in quality from the official Rock Band guitar. Nyko says that Playstation updated their software and made it incompatible with the reciever box when used for Rock Band. They said to flip it over to the GH setting. We hung up. We tried it and had no reception at all. We called back and they said that they would send us a new reciever box. I hope this fixes the problem when it arrives, but the whole thing is fishy.

GOOD WHILE IT LAST!!!
As everyone else, this guitar is NOT WORKING ANY MORE!!! I'm prety upset because I have 5 FrontMan guitars and CANT USE THEM.

They are not working with the new PS3 UPDATE.

They are complete garbage now.

They used to work great and I had a lot of fun with them, NOT ANYMORE!!

Don't buy this!!!!!!!!!!
