what?
It's .50. For a usb to mini usb cable. Other cables on this site do the same thing and go for .01 cent. Cables To Go - 27005 - 2M USB 2.0 A/Mini-B Cable (Black) As to why someone would by this is beyond me.

It's just a usb cable
Any usb cable will work , thats it . Not worth the money and the name is just marketing bull .

I will recommend this item to any PS3 owners out there who will like to relax on there couch while charging and playing video games at the sametime with comfort.


Works!
Usually i don't care about name brand cables but for 10 bucks and Energizer brand cable i couldn't say no. That said it works like its supposed to! Nice and long and charges my controller, thats all i was after.


Excellent solution to charging problems!
Product was as described, and works excellently! Length is great, and allows for continuous game play!


Great exentsion usb cord for Playstation 3
For the price this a very nice usb cable that allows you to play at a distance from your Playstation 3 while your controller charges. The usb cable that comes with the Playstation is way too short. Outside of that it does what it is supposed to do.

    Great controller but battery could be better.
    Hey all this is Sam AKA Para in the gaming review community. This is one of many gaming reviews I will be starting for Amazon, so I hope you enjoy. Going to be talking about the Xbox 360 Limited Edition Red Wireless Controller and Play & Charge Kit which I have to say feels well. It is sort of light but durable. After playing for long hours I notice no pain in my hands, just the way the designed this controller it just fits right in your hands and is not stressing out you muscles or having you to curve your hands around it just to hold it. The vibration feedback is very well and is not super strong that it feels like a back massager or making your hands go numb, but it is not also so weak that you cannot even feel it. It gives just the right amount. The triggers are in just the right position and have the perfect lift to them for easy access. The joy sticks are perfectly assessable and once again do not strain your hands trying to use them. Battery life is not the best though, it could use a slight improvement but that is minor. I suggest if you don't need the vibration to turn it off and save battery. Overall the controller is very nice and easy to use. Good work Microsoft for changing the hamburger shaped Xbox controller to this much easier to handle one. Hope this review helps and look forward for my other game reviews.

    These controllers are great! I only purchase Microsoft brand products for my xbox and the deal on these controller packages are fantastic! Will definitely be picking up another to complete my set!


    Bad
    When I got the controller and charger it looked ok, but the charger didn't work. The controller worked with the other chargers I have at my house so I know it wasn't the battery pack or the controller so it had to be the charger... very disappointing.


    It's a controller, not a game
    Sorry about the title, but I was asked to "rate this game" and it's not a game it's a piece of equipment. I feel I got a good deal on this kit and it has performed flawlessly. The shipping was prompt also.


    Nice deal
    You get what you order. The elite controller is slick in black, far better than the aracade controllers. Realy nice to be able to charge recharge your controller. This accesory should have been included with the system, like the PS3, but I guess microsoft just doesnt care.

    The charge kit is a must have for your xbox 360. you don't want to be wasting a lot of money on batteries!


    Perfect!
    I had the Xbox 360 wireless controller for Windows and inserted this battery and the cable to charge and it worked.

    At first, I was really doubtful as to if it will work for Windows but I still went ahead with it and glad I did. Awesome!!

    I can also plug and play with the cable on Windows without a problem. Thanks to this I won't have to shell out new batteries every here and than.


    Win Some Lose Some
    After engaging in a battery tug of war with my significant other, I decided to put the Xbox360 controller down and release it of its lithium counterparts. I decided it was high time to get the play & charge kit.
    Finding one for was a steal especially when the seller was not only a trusted business but also local.
    It arrived & I tore open the package to find that I had won one over the corporate conglomerate as my had not only gotten me the play & charge kit, but also the controller that comes with it, I believe this would be around new...
    Shortly after celebrating my victory I come to find out that the controllers battery wont hold a charge.
    So now with my controller surplus being at 4+ I still havent obtained the one thing I came for, and realize it would be stupid for me to return the controller as I'd actually be losing $$$$....?


    meets all expectations
    Nothing too fancy. Simple to use, charges it, it stays charge for like 24 hours of play time. Their is nothing more i can ask of it. Im saving money on batteries now and i never have to stop my gameplay to find new batteries.


    Useful, but a poor investment
    The play and charge kit is useful for converting your wireless controller into a battery saving wired controller. However, the battery provided is of poor quality. I bought two play and charge kits about 16 months ago; both are now dead. This was with moderate use, but with very little battery abuse. It would have cost less to buy throw away batteries for those 16 months.

    If you are looking to save on batteries you may want to look into buying a wired controller or a good set of rechargable batteries and recharger. Although both options are more expensive than buying the play and charge kit, they offer much more versatility (an extra controller, or lots of general purpose rechargable batteries).
